Jojoba Oil | Certified Organic

My skin has gotten very dry as I have grown older and also moved to a very dry climate. I bought this oil to use in various cosmetic products but I tried it on my hands as soon as I received it and was very happy with how it felt and absorbed. This is a lightweight oil that was absorbed into my skin within 5 or 10 minutes. I did not TIME it, per se, but simply noticed that it had absorbed nicely within a reasonable amount of time and that it left my hands with a satin finish. I was also happy that it has NO scent at all, which makes it ideal for use in many cosmetic applications. I have some recipes for scalp and hair oil, using jojoba and other oils, with essential fragrances, and I plan to try those soon. I am pretty sure that this oil will work beautifully because of its lightweight nature that has no fragrance to interfere with the essential oils. The ONLY drawback is that the bottle is plastic. I do not like to add plastic to the environment, but I understand that glass would be more expensive to use in the manufacture of this product. I may write the manufacturer and give them my opinion that this oil is such a good quality that we would all pay a little more to have it in a glass bottle. Finally, I will say that I like the fact that it comes with two "lids," a screw-on cap that flips open, as well as a pump. I screwed on the pump applicator and used it to to apply some of the oil to my hands, and I was pleased with the amount of oil that came out. It wasn't too much to use for one hand at a time. If you have dry skin and just want to use this oil "straight" from the bottle, or if you are experimenting with DIY cosmetic products, this is a great oil that I highly recommend.

Have 5 stars because product is great. However it arrived with broken pumps I very hard to use. Would be nice to get a replacement pump for bottle. Thank you

I seriously love this stuff!!! Your skin soaks it right up. No sticky residue. I use this for both skin and hair. My skin is much more moisturized and radiant. For my hair I use this and castor oil about once or twice a week. Leave it in. It definitely grows out your hair. I have bleached my hair blonde so you can see the brown roots showing as proof it works.Photo is 2 weeks worth of growth. Uhhh yasssss

My wife and I have been looking for a product for her dry patchy skin condition. Tried various lotions, potions, and oils with limited results. Most work for a while then back to the store for something new. We were researching natural treatments and found jojoba oil as a possible healing agent. After a couple days her skin began to heal and with regular use has yet to had a recurrence. A little oil goes a long way. I myself have been using this oil as a pre-shave and aftershave skin conditioning treatment. I glow after a good shave looking and feeling younger. It is also a great massage oil we give each other full body massages with this product. It give just the right glide without being sticky like some lotions or too slippery like some oils. Cliganic processes jojoba oil the correct way and if you buy the big bottle like we did you will save some money in the long run.
